No documentation is required from the pedestrian. As part of the establishment of the monitored access area, all residents will be required to submit the cellular phone details of staff to the company employed to monitor access in the area and will be recorded on a database. The staff member will call the pedestrian gate (missed call so there is no cost) and the pedestrian gate will release for a few seconds to allow access. The pedestrian gate is also monitored by camera and should the gate remain open for more than the allocated time frame, an alarm will be triggered in the control room, who will then notify the patrol unit to investigate the specific gate.
Hi Jaco, I am not familiar with the existing access gate in Sidney.
